Agloco and SlashMySearch are the most popular free to join moneymaking programs on the Internet today. This is why I’m conducting this comprehensive cross analysis of them. You’re going to find out exactly what these two programs have to offer and which one could bring you more profit!
We’ll start with a popularity check:
Agloco had a lot bigger impact on the web because it’s widely advertised and it has a huge community. I’m sure that everyone knows about it, even people who don’t use the Internet. However, SlashMySearch is relatively new on the web and it’s not nearly heard of as Agloco. Its community isn’t huge but it’s rapidly growing.
A simple Google search tells you a lot about these two. When I searched for ‘agloco’ I got a breathtaking 1 440 000 results while ‘slashmysearch’ returned a ‘’miserable’’ 97 500.
But is this enough to make a conclusion? Let’s take a look at these charts:
Alexa traffic rank for Agloco
This is a traffic report for the last 6 months. You can see that Agloco reached the top 100 000 (current rank 3,597) on Alexa on the first of November and on the 15. its traffic exploded reaching over 0.1% of the Web traffic in a few days. That was due to the start of their massive marketing campaign. When the word came out they went to a 2-month period of stagnation with an average traffic of 0.04%. The final, growing period started in February and it still lasts. This rise is, I believe, due to their upcoming release of the Agloco Viewbar and the start of surfing for money.

This is a traffic report for the last 6 months. Here you see that SlashMySearch entered the top 100 000 (current rank 56,118) slightly before Agloco, but they hadn’t advertised as loudly as Agloco. SlashMySearch’s traffic boom occurred in the start of February when they achieved 0.017% of the Web traffic in less than 10 days. You’ll see a small decrease in the last few days. That was due to their massive server crash, but it’s fixed now and they are operating at full capacity. Traffic will continue to grow
Compared analysis:
There is one thing in common with these charts - long period of stagnation. There’s only one reason for that. Both Agloco and SlashMySearch are in BETA testing and that makes them imperfect in their own ways!
Beta problems:
Agloco generates income to their community through the Viewbar and the problem is that it is not yet available so it practically doesn’t exist, so their community did not see any income so far. This makes people skeptic and it’s harder to convince them to join. Agloco states that they should come out of Beta before the end of March.
On the other hand, SlashMySearch is already paying their community. However, their problem is of a technical nature. They still have enormous amount of bugs to fix. They should come out of Beta in 3 months.
Profit estimate:
Agloco pays for only 5 hours of surfing per month. So you can make a little over $12 on your own. They have 5 referral levels with commissions diminishing on every level. This could make you a huge profit if you manage to refer a huge crowd.
With SlashMySearch you can make up to $180 per month, depending of the number of hour you spend searching. You can make $30-$40 with ease. Huge profits are possible with 3 referral levels. Your direct referrals make you $0.15 per hour of searching.
Program financing:
Agloco and SlashMySearch make money through advertising. Agloco from the advertisements displayed on the Viewbar and SlashMySearch earns revenue from sponsored ads on their pages.
Only time can tell us if these programs will be able to regularly pay their ever-increasing communities.
My opinion:
It’s hard to say which one of these programs could be more profitable to you, but I’ll have to go with SlashMySearch because of the next 2 reasons:
