Bloggeries is a great blog directory for any blogger to have their blog listed. The main page is a page rank 6, with the categories ranked as well. Bloggeries also has a forum as well as a blog that does reviews.
Now, you can make money by referring people to the directory. To get listed it costs $34.99 for a permanent link, or $49.99 annually for a featured link.
So what do you get out of that?
For everyone that you refer to the blog directory and buys a listing, you will earn $20 for every sale. You can also earn money for referring friends to the affiliate program. For every sale that your referral makes, you get an additional $5.

$20 for a directory sale isn't a bad deal at all. Now the problem is actually convincing people to shell out $40 for a directory listing.
well the affiliate program is definitely worthwhile.
however you may have a better chance on a related forum, like DP, for those lookin for links, etc

Buying links such as sitewides for the sake of link juice is penalizable. Respectable directories give you power but you aren't paying for it. You're paying for the owner to take the time to review your site and only the good ones make it through the filter.

I believe there are betterways to make money with blogging. just like with viral marketing-no costs, much visitors. but how to do this? a best eyxample these days are the aladygma producers. they have a viral campaign that works in all the world. but ehy, not everybody can do something like aladygma so i say: THANKS FOR ALL YOUR TIPS IN THIS BLOG MAN!!!

I think that is not a wise action to spend money just for a listing. It is rather difficult to urge people to spend and join.
